The people who run “Supermodel Of The World” for Ford are out of their minds.  In these last contests, I was semi-fond of three girls.  They are the winners from Australia, Brazil and Sweden seen above.  I don’t want to waste my time with this so I’ll briefly run down why I feel the way I do.  This is such a disappointment.  Pay close attention please.

Belarus – Maryna: She’s interesting but I feel she’s inexpressive.  Nothing special.
Latvia – Karlina: I almost think she was only picked for her dimensions and proportionality.
Philippines – Charlene: Not model material, period.
United States – Olivia: Let’s just say the next Karlie Kloss is not here.  I generally dislike many American fashion models.

And for some of the models that have come out of countries like Australia (Abbey Lee Kershaw, Miranda Kerr, Catherine McNeil) and Brazil (endless list including Adriana Lima and Gisele Bündchen), at least two of the girls pictured above have a long way to go if they wish to be widely praised and recognized.  Therefore I’m putting my money on Sweden to make something happen.  She’s got a solid opportunity.
